Sean Maymi
Sean Maymi served as the Associate Head Men’s Tennis Coach at the University of Michigan from 2006-2011. In recognition of his efforts during the 2007-08 season, the ITA named Sean its Midwest Regional Assistant Coach of the Year. He became the first Michigan assistant coach to claim the honor.
Prior to his five years at Michigan, Sean was the Assistant Coach of the Fresno State Bulldogs Men’s Tennis Team. Sean spent the 2005 dual match season as the Volunteer Assistant Coach at Northwestern University. That year, the Wildcats advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2002.
Sean also worked with ATP professional Michael Russell in 2002-03, acting as a coach, hitting partner and strength and conditioning leader.
